Sri Lankan Community Centre, recognised by LBH, was founded in 2008 and moved to its present site in 2009. The new facility was open on 19th September 2009. Sri Lankan Community Centre (SLCC) is organised by the Sri Lanka Assist Foundation UK with the participation of Sri Lankans living in London Borough of Hounslow.
The Centre has a splendid hall, adjacent computer lab, games area, meeting room, large kitchen and a outdoor BBQ area for members.
It runs over 11 separate sections including: photography, model making, web design, kandian dancing, pool games, yoga, floral art, music & movement, cultural dancing, counselling and money advice.
Entertainment includes: dances, weekend breaks, regular coach trips and live entertainment. Ceylon Tea & Coffee evenings are held every Saturday 3.00pm, so why not drop in and find out more about us; you will be very welcome.
